岡山大学宇宙物理実験グループ

M2の中尾・戸田、B4の石坂・風早・土居が卒業しました。おめでとうございます。

2018年1月に本研究室にきて以来、様々な事務仕事やその他諸々引き受けて頂き、大変お世話になりました。この度、本学の他の部署に移ることになり、残念ながら本研究室を去ることになりました。新天地でのご活躍をお祈りいたします。

2020年4月にSTEVER Samantha Lynn WTT (Woman Tenure Track)助教が着任されました。これまでは、Kavli IPMUで１年間研究員を行っていました。当研究室では、LiteBIRD計画の推進をメインに行います。

2020年3月25日、学位記等授与式を研究室で行いました。
修士1名、学士2名が卒業しました。
社会、そして大学院でのご活躍を祈念いたします。

On March 25, 2020, we held a graduation ceremony in a laboratory.
One master, two bachelors graduated.
I pray for the achievement in society and the graduate school.

B4の髙瀬祐介さんが『岡山大学黒正賞』を受賞されました！

3月に卒業するＭ2の柳澤さん、4月1日に特任助教として着任されるSamantha Stever Lynnさん、新しく研究室配属となるB3の石坂さん、風早さん、土居さんのFarewell＆wellcome partyを開きました。
お寿司をいただきながら皆でpartyを楽しみました。

Grenoble Universityからのインターンシップ生、ROUSSEAU SimonさんとMEYZEN AlienorさんのFarewell partyを開きました。同じ研究室で過ごした3か月間、彼らの勤勉さと行動力に感心する毎日でした。お元気で！

We had Farewell party of RUSSEAU Simon and MEYZEN Alienor, internship students from Grenoble University. During the three months we spent in the same laboratory, we were impressed with their hard work and ability to act. Take care!

7月1日から2日にかけて、LiteBIRD kick off meeting が神奈川県相模原市のJAXA/ISAS(宇宙科学研究所）で開かれました。このシンポジウムの主な目的は、LiteBIRDのデザインコンセプト、その期待される科学的成果、LiteBIRDの国内外のコラボレーション、そしてプロジェクトの成果について議論することです。この目的のために、CMBの分極化の科学、観測の現状と将来の見通し、そしてPlanckから得られた教訓がどのようにLiteBIRDプロジェクトに組み込まれるのかについてもレビューし議論されました。

5月13日、フランスのGrenoble UniversityからROUSSEAU SimonさんとMEYZEN Alienorさんがインターンシップのため来られました。3か月の滞在予定です。研究打合せで来られたパリ大学のGuillaume先生と、オックスフォード大学の大学院生Tommasoさんも一緒にpartyを楽しみました。

May 13th, ROUSSEAU Simon and MEYZEN Alienor from Grenoble University in France came for the internship. They will stay for 3 months. Mr. Guillaume of Paris University and Tommaso, a graduate student of Oxford University, who came at the research meeting　enjoyed the party together.

3月1日、作田誠教授の長年にわたる功績に敬意を表し、退官を記念して最終講義が開催されました。これまで先生が取り組まれた研究、教育を振り返りその軌跡をたどりながらご講話くださりました。ありがとうございました。

On March 1st, in honor of Prof. Makoto Sakuta's many years of achievement, the final lecture was held to commemorate the retirement. Under the subject of "retrospecting research and education", I had a lecture on the research and education that the teacher worked on up until now, and gave a talk on the path. Thank you very much.
